Hearts and Hammers Home Repair

Our High School and Middle School students worked with Hearts and Hammers on April 30th to repair a house in Sugar Land. They repaired a home that was damaged in the hurricane.

Community Service Project School Supplies:
We went to help Bethel Ministries help families in need on Tuesday, August 17.  We helped in two ways. First, we donated school supplies and donated money for school supplies. Second, we volunteered to sort the supplies by signing up for the 9:00 a.m. shift or by passing out the school supplies at the 5:00 p.m. shift.  For more information, contact Dianne Degraffenreid at 713.822.2132 or Alan Jenkins at 713.501.5245 or alan@yourlifepointe.com.

Food Project:
We went to help Bethel Ministries (3015 5th Street in Stafford) help families in need.  We worked in two shifts (morning and evening) on Thursday, June 17.  The morning crew worked from 9:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. by unloading food bank trucks, separating food into 400 boxes and setting up for distribution.  The evening crew worked from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. to distribute the food and cleaned up when finished.
